A question I get asked a lot is if I have a favorite design. It’s a reasonable question, something you’d think I’d know off the top of my head! But that’s really not the way my mind (or creative process) works. I’m passionate about every one! Each piece is a new and different challenge, And I take the same care and attention to a mini or an ornament that I do to a larger, more elaborate design.

You see, I don’t just love the end result, I love the process of creating. So my general answer to that question is something like, “It’s the piece I’m working on right now!” It’s a safe answer… and it’s true! I don’t want to play favorites with my art. I love them all!

That said, there are pieces I think turn out especially well! Like these new First Edition designs. Everything about these pieces works just the way I envisioned, starting with the facial expressions on Mickey & Minnie LED Diorama FE to the lights and bells on the Grinch with Max Cindy FE to the horse-drawn sleigh on Santa Winter Scene Musical FE. The execution and attention to detail are just right. The color palettes are warm and rich, with deep forest greens mixed with burgundy and gold.

And we’ve added something special. Each one of these First Edition designs is a hand-numbered limited edition with a distinct understamp including my signature. Just a little extra added fun available exclusively on the first run of these brand-new designs. But these won’t be the last ones for sure! I’m already working on some new “favorites!”
